My 5 favorite Canggu breakfasts spots
One thing became very clear to me after spending more than two months on Bali: it is super easy to score a delicious and healthy breakfast. Of those two months, I spent one whole month in Canggu. In Canggu you will be bombarded with smoothiebowls and avocado shakes, so this blog is more about me having a place to share my foodpics besides Instagram. But I will mention the location where I took these delicious Canggu breakfasts as well 😉
Top 5 healthy Canggu breakfasts
1: Nüde
Since the kitchen opens at 7.00 am, we visited this lovely place with delicious healthy foods quite often before starting our work day. We were able to try many different kinds of breakfasts (and lunch and dinner;)). At Nüde they serve both sweet and savory breakfasts. The food is Western, but the fruits are definitely from Bali.

2: Quince Cafe
In the same steet as Nüde, but opens at 8.00 am. Runned by a lovely couple. She is from Australia, he is Balinese but went to high school in Australia. If you are looking for picture perfect breakfast, this is the place to be. They sell beautiful pottery as well.

3: The Loft Canggu
Quite a popular place. It can be crowded if you go for a late(r) breakfast. It can be very noisy as well, since the terrace overlooks a busy street. I liked the menu and the coffee a lot, as well as their retro chairs. But what really stuck with me was the quote on the wall: You’ll see it, when you believe it.

Warm oats with home made granola and fruits
4: The Common Cafe
Too busy at the Loft? No worries! Cross the street to the Common Cafe, which probably will be less crowded. Nevertheless, the food is just as good or maybe even better. I still dream of the creamy coconut yoghurt I had here. They know how to make you fall in love with them: they serve chocolate smarties with the coffee.

Peanut butter and banana on toast
5: Koloni
Forget about the busy Canggu streets for a moment. In this garden you will feel like you have traveled with a time machine to the Colonial times. Well, if there were fans in the Colonial times. Still too hot for you outside? Go inside. The service will be a little bit better in there as well. Do you like wine? Then stay till lunch time!

Smoothie bowls
There are still some places that I would like to check out, such as The Shady Shack. But there is still time to explore some more hotspots, since we will be back in Bali in February. Yay! So if your favorite hotspot is missing from this list, please let me know so that I can go there.
